fdf works with employers and employer representative bodies to shape and enhance higher education in a way that meets the requirements of businesses and industry.
fdf has established a number of employer consortia that include some of the largest and most influential employers in each sector. The aim of each consortium is to clearly define what the sector requires from higher education and then develop provision that matches these requirements.
fdf works with the public sector at strategic and operational levels to link government policy and workforce development needs with education and training provision. This involves working with government departments, regional bodies and employers.
